Rishi Sunak was born into an immigrant household. His grandfather immigrated to East Africa from Punjab, in northwestern India. He is a British politician and businessman who became Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in October 2022. He was previously the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
